Installation of a DIVE-Turbine in Carcassonne – First fish friendly horizontal rake in France

A new DIVE-Turbine has been installed in the City of Carcassonne, France. The runner diameter is 1450mm with an installed capacity of 450kW.

The special characteristics of the new power plant in Carcassonne is the horizontal rake: It is the first horizontal rake ever installed in France.
